4.6 pull advice.

Pearl's role in Elation teams

Pearl is an Elation-focused sustain whose value comes from extra turns and temporary resources. Silver Wolf LV.999 and Evanescia gain the most from those resources; Waveflair and Sparxie benefit too, but gain less from the same effects. Pearl’s Ultimate, Elation Skill, and E1 also scale with the number of Elation characters in the team.

E0S0 is enough to play her. Further investment depends on the carry and the rest of the roster. If the next pull is uncertain, wait for Aha’s kit to become clear before committing more budget.

Pull priorities across four Elation teams

Start with the carry and Yao Guang, then compare Pearl with the upgrades that team needs. Waveflair’s solo-Elation setup needs a separate decision from his full-Elation team.

Silver Wolf LV.999: add Pearl before more damage investment

Pearl's temporary resources convert into 60 MMR for Silver Wolf regardless of the Ultimate target, rising to 120 with E2 Pearl. Extra turns for Yao Guang and Elation Trailblazer help them use more Ultimates and feed the team. Pearl can also bring Silver Wolf forward when her buff-extension playstyle needs a timely action.

Once Silver Wolf and Yao Guang are in place, add E0 Pearl before buying a Light Cone or E1 Silver Wolf. For further investment, prioritize E2 Silver Wolf, then consider E2 Pearl. E0 Pearl is still a sensible stopping point; leave her later Eidolons for a rerun if the team already meets your needs.

Evanescia: E1 damage or a new sustain

Pearl is a large upgrade over Evanescia's earlier sustains and can approach sustainless damage in some setups. The main one-pull choice after Evanescia and Yao Guang is E1 Evanescia or E0 Pearl. E1 adds damage and more opportunities to deal it, which helps against Pure Fiction's respawning waves.

E1 Evanescia comes out ahead in the damage comparison against replacing Huohuo with Pearl, though team calculations alone leave out roster value. Pearl gives the team a strong sustain while freeing Huohuo for another side. That account-wide benefit matters less when Huohuo has no other team to join.

Pearl can stay useful if you move to a different Elation carry later. Choose E1 Evanescia, E0 Pearl, or both according to those needs, then wait for Aha's kit before another major upgrade. Whether Aha further rewards a four-Elation team is still unknown.

Waveflair: solo Elation and full Elation need different plans

Pearl's temporary Certified Banger can strengthen Waveflair's Skill and Ultimate during the extra turn, but he does not convert it into a lasting resource. Extra turns still help him stack Fervor, so the pairing works without matching Silver Wolf or Evanescia's gains.

For a solo-Elation Waveflair account, prioritize E1 and E2 Waveflair and keep the existing team before spending on two more limited units, Yao Guang and Pearl. Moving to full Elation means buying several teammates. If the other side already uses a full-Elation team, Pearl may be needed there instead.

For a full-Elation Waveflair team, Pearl is a strong upgrade over earlier sustains. Sustainless setups usually have a higher damage ceiling, while Pearl offers a comfortable alternative. Build around Waveflair and Yao Guang first, prioritize Waveflair's Eidolons, then add E0 Pearl.

Sparxie: complete the core at low investment

Pearl is Sparxie's strongest sustain option here, adding Elation Skill damage, extra turns for Sparxie or her supports, and comfortable survival. Sparxie does not convert the temporary resources into a lasting resource, and her limited resources make extra turns less valuable than Waveflair's Fervor-building turns.

For a main-carry Sparxie team, get Sparxie and Yao Guang, then Pearl, and keep the team at low investment. Pearl's E1 is a stronger upgrade than Sparxie's E1; Sparxie's E2 is useful but does not reach the value of Silver Wolf or Waveflair's E2. Wait for Aha's kit before choosing where the next larger investment should go.

E0, E1, and E2: where to stop

E0S0 is a complete stopping point. Later upgrades can wait for a rerun. If you already plan to invest more in Pearl herself, use the first additional pull on E1 before S1: E1 adds much more damage and also provides recovery margin when an ally goes down.

With a second additional upgrade, continue to E2S0. This path suits players who have already decided to invest further in Pearl. Check the carry first: E2 Silver Wolf and Waveflair’s Eidolons can take priority, while E1 Evanescia competes with adding E0 Pearl.

Pearl’s sig can be skipped at low investment. It improves sustain comfort, but the gap to Mushy Shroomy’s Adventures is small enough that E1 Pearl is the better next pull for damage.

If you already own a spare When She Decided to See, Yao Guang’s sig, it performs close to Pearl’s sig and can go straight to Pearl.

Viewer comments

A selection of viewer comments, not a survey of the whole audience.

New teammates or more Eidolons

One viewer would always take a new teammate over E1, preferring to finish a dedicated team. Others want to wait for Aha's details before spending more. Another commenter expects Pearl's sustain slot to remain useful, while still advising players who can guarantee only one of the two characters to wait.

Early E0S0 team reports

A viewer with E2S1 Evanescia reports clearing that Anomaly Arbitration fight on auto after replacing E1S0 Huohuo with E0S0 Pearl. Another viewer using E2 Silver Wolf reports reaching the MMR cap with E0S0 Pearl, while noting that the current stages also help. Both reports depend on their teams and the stage conditions.

Huohuo across two teams

Some viewers are considering Pearl because Huohuo is needed on both their Elation team and another side. Others can still clear with their existing sustains and would rather save their pulls.
